Carrara, Unesco Creative City
In 2017 Carrara was named Unesco Creative City and since then its thirst for creativity has never stopped.
The city participates to a project named Hands at Work in synergy with Itki Foundation and Carrara Studi Aperti. This project wishes to promote the creative know-how of local artists and artisans, through the mapping and narration by the same of their craftsmanship and their art on the Creative Knowledge Platform.
This project not only works on a local level, but is desires an international extension, involving the other cities of the Network.
Hands of Work, puts the figure of the artist first because these artisans, with their creativity and talent, manages to develop the urban city in a sustainable way, in line with the goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
